About me

I have over 10 years of experience working in film, television, commercial production, and theatre.

Currently, I work as a Props Buyer and Set Dresser at the Tony Award winning Goodman Theatre, Chicago’s largest and oldest non-profit theater. My position allows me to source, style, and curate all the elements that make up a set, including the furniture, decoration, hand props, fabrics, lighting fixtures, artwork, and graphics. My design knowledge, research, and attention to detail have helped create striking visual narratives for over 15 major theatre productions so far, including Jeff Award winner "The Color Purple" and "Iceboy!" starring Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally.

Previously, I worked in the film and television industry as a Production Designer, Art Director, Set Decorator, Set Dresser, and Property Master. I have led teams to research and design sets, props, decorations, costumes, and graphic design, enhancing the visual storytelling on over 50 productions.

Films I've designed have premiered at the Austin Film Festival, Portland Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, and Ann Arbor Film Festival, winning over 8 festival awards for narrative film. I am an IATSE 476 Chicago local union member and have worked on award-winning television shows such as Hulu's "The Bear," Apple TV's "Dark Matter," and MGM's "Emperor of Ocean Park."

I have recently completed two certificates from Parsons School of Design in 2024.

With my Graphic Design certificate, I completed 8 courses with a 3.8 GPA. The courses included Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Typography, Color Theory, Print Production, Graphic Design History, and Intro to Graphic Design.

With my Fashion Buying and Merchandising certificate, I completed 2 courses with a 3.8 GPA.

My previous education is from the University of Michigan, where I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Television, and Media with a Digital Studies minor.
